Inspired by the timeless beauty of ancient Greece and Rome, the Classical Cameo Paint Inlay by Iron Orchid Designs was designed in collaboration with Annie Sloan, the artist and inventor of Chalk Paint®. This elegant collection combines classical portrait cameos, architectural borders, ornamental motifs.
Application Designed for use with wet paint. The inlay is applied to the painted surface, allowed to dry, and then the backing is removed, leaving the pigment embedded into the finish. This technique creates a more organic and painted look compared to surface transfers.
